Located in central North Carolina, we’re located just east of Burlington, NC in Graham. Graham is a great little town, not far from anything you might want to do, or need.
The studio is situated on 5.5 secluded acres just minutes outside the city limits.

Dark Pines is a 1360 Sq Ft studio designed with/by Rod Gervais.
The studio features full tracking and mix capabilities, ftp transfer, temporary e-mail, lounge with shower and a relaxing atmosphere in which to create… Overall, we’ve worked hard to make a great place for you to create, develop and complete your project.

How much is this gonna’ cost me?
Our rates are affordable daily and block rates.
Daily rates are based upon a 10 hour day and include set-up time.
Block rates are also based on a 10 hour day, but are a much more flexible work schedule and obviously, a lower rate because you are using the studio for an extended period of time.
Discounted rates are available to all clients who use our Remote/Location Recording services.
Our Band only needs a couple of hours to track.
Our experience shows that it really does take a a full day to set up all the instruments, get the best sound and get a couple of good solid takes. In the end, you’ll end up spending a full day in the studio. So, why put the added pressure on yourself of being on the clock as soon as you walk in the studio? That’s not the most productive way to get a great recording.
I just want to track drums.
Not a problem! You can bring your files in, or we will provide you with ftp space where you can upload your files ahead of time. After your tracks are done, we can either give you your files on CD, USB media, your external drive or we can make them available via ftp.
We’ve already got all of our tracks done, and I need a place to mix.
Again, not a problem. The mix room is available for a cheaper day rate than the entire studio. However, you do need to book the studio as you would a regular session. Our time slots are filling up quite a bit ahead of time, so be sure you get your reservations booked as soon as you can.
What about after the session?
We offer a variety of amenities to make your session comfortable and productive… meals can be prepared on site, catered in, or we have a wide variety of restaurants within a few minutes drive of the studio.
We have room to accommodate small groups of up to 6. Comfortable discounted accommodations are located just minutes away.
Need a break from it all? There is golf, fishing, movies, tennis and a wide variety of recreational facilities easily located within a short drive.
If you really want to “get-away” for a day or two, we have a small public airport that can get you quick access to the mountains or the beach in short order, then get you back after a refreshing break.
