“History” in the Making
Sorry about the lack of updates. I’ve been pretty well head down diggin’ to get ready for the first tracking session in the new studio.
On Sunday January 10th, 2010, we achieved the ultimate goal of making our first recording in the new studio.
It was both nerve wracking and one of the most rewarding events I’ve experienced in my career as a musician and engineer.
I have to pay due homage to Sam. While he hasn’t been here the entire time, he has been workin’ here long enough that he’s getting invested in the place.
Also, Adam and Kyle from Hot Politics have been diggin’ in and really putting a lot of effort in to helping me get the place up and ready for this day… and the days to follow as well.
For historical purposes, they agreed to allow me to post the first minute of the first take we made. Thank you gentlemen!
