As of  the wee hours this morning, I’ve got a mix loaded and I’m mixing for a client… so we’ve made the deadline, but barely.

WOOOO HOOOO!!!

Here’s pix from the last 3 days….

I got slowed down quite a bit yesterday morning… I was drilling a 3″ hole in one of the bench dividers, when the holesaw caught on a knot. The drill twisted right on out of the hole, crawled up the face of the plywood and chewed a nickle sized plug off the end of my thumb.

So needless to say, my day was pretty well shot, as far as making quick work of anything…

Still, I got the network lines all punched down and the last of the cables connected and lit the rig up!

I can definitely tell a HUGE difference between the temp setup in the basement and the studio… There’s actually no comparison.

It’s been a BRUTAL year, and I’m just happy that it’s over and done.

And now that the studio is 99% done… maybe we can actually get back to the business of recording and mixing!
