The Short Row, Before the Last Long Row…
Had a really interesting conversation the other night about the patchbay placement, and I will probably reconfigure, so that the two patchbay’s are next to each other on the left side of the console.
It will eliminate a couple of cable runs, that would be kinda’ tricky to pull off… and more importantly, will save the cost of the cables.
Hopefully, the last coat of Spar Urethane went on the desks last night.
I’ll start milling/fitting trim molding after I get an eye on the finish.
Pix will be coming up this afternoon, if indeed things are good to go.
Keeping my fingers and legs crossed….
I did a revision to the speaker stand drawings last night. I’ll take em’ to a local machine shop to see what they’ll charge to build these beasts… (May end up cheaper to buy some.) We’ll see…
We should start racking and wiring today, if indeed the poly turned out ok. (I’ll check it in an hour or so)
But at least the tracking room is cleared and clean enough to start soldering up the wall panels… so those will get started on, if nothing else.
