Well… snagged a 1/4″ knap roller yesterday and put on what I hope to be the 3rd and final coat of the sealer.
As with many an acrylic/oil based/etc, product for the floor, the roller has a tendency to put small air bubbles in the product due to a grain in the roller’s manufacturing.

I double checked the floor of the tracking room this morning.
Everything was dried and clear. There were a couple of holidays that really needed to be coated again… but I was expecting that. So, I broke out the roller and pan, and proceeded to put the 2nd coat of sealer on.

Update on the floor…
I re-checked the floor again yesterday morning.
There were STILL a couple of spots that seemed a bit thin on coverage…. ARRRRGH!!!
Oh well… broke out the sprayer and hit those spots again… for the fifth coat!
(So much for the finishing/application advice from the paint dept guy at Home Repo!)

I’m rather disappointed with the sprayer I got for the job. At $45 for one recommended, you’ld think it would last more than one application. I used it to try out the color scheme in the hall. I thought I cleaned it out real well after that, butI guess I failed pretty miserably at it. […]

The floor in the tracking room got 4 moppings, then I hit it with the etcher/cleaner…
After two scrubbings with the etcher, I mopped for what seemed like an eternity to stop the etch process.
