Man… this is two days in a row!
The HVAC passed rough-in inspection!!
I’ve gotta start packing for a tracking session in Cinci this weekend, so not gonna get too far on things until next week… arrrg….
Oh well… It’s a benefit event, so it’s worth it;

We passed the electrical rough-in inspection!!!!
There were only two comments… he wants Andy to be sure and put bushings on the chase nipples in the dimmer panel and that we will probably need a circuit for an emergency exit sign over the loading dock door.

The HVAC is all but ready for rough-in inspection.
The guys actually worked on Friday to finish all but a couple of minor things. I think all they have are a couple of joints to tape and one bit of flex to connect to the fan in the bathroom.

The duct is all but in… all the returns but one are attached and there are two feeds to the server room to be connected to the trunk.

The heat here has been BRUTAL for the past week. It’s forced the HVAC guys to start early and quit early. They’ve been starting about 7AM and bailing out about 3:30PM.

Andy and I met for a good long while last night going over a the lighting and dimmer installation.
Amongst the sweatdrops in our eyes at 7PM, we managed to get the task completed… not the installation, but the layout plan;
The filter packs require a conduit to enter/exit.

The “Dirty Power” panel is on the right. The “Clean Power” panel is on the left. We’ll be taking #3 copper down the conduit that exits to bottom, out to the isolation transformer and bringing it  back in through the left panel’s conduit that comes in at the bottom.
